Role of the Party Secretary
The Secretary of the Generalist Party, appointed by the Party Leader, is responsible for maintaining the vast majority of Party paperwork, excluding that which falls under the jurisdiction of the Party Treasurer, including applications for membership, minutes to the party meetings and information regarding past and present campaigns. The Secretary must maintain full reliability and conviction to uphold the party constitution, including recording accurate minutes and processing applications for membership fairly. Another of the Secretary’s duties is to oversee all creations and designs for the Party to be used in campaigns, including logos, images, leaflets and websites. Any proposed material to be used for the party must then be submitted to the Executive Committee during a meeting for open discussion.
